Groundbreaking held for new $16M West Maui Water Source Development Project

With a long term goal of developing new sources of water and maintaining existing facilities, it comes as great news to hear that the Department of Water Supply plans to develop the Kahana Well, which is expected to come online in 2025. This will increase much needed capacity to West Maui’s water system and help stabilize the ability to meet increasing demand.

That’s our July report from Maui County. The trade-winds are blowing, the sun is shining, and summer is in full swing.
